GitHub App Smackdown With this app smackdown project, I want to introduce GitHub — a web-based platform that helps developers with version control and collaboration. I discussed the reasons why GitHub is used by so many in the technology field and its key features, such as version control, tools for collaboration, and project documentation. I focused on GitHub’s versatility between students and professionals, emphasizing that it can be used in coursework to organize coding assignments and group projects, as well as provide a space for developing one's professional portfolio to demonstrate coding skills.
